After making it’s grand return last year, the Cardboard Boat Regatta is back again in 2025! Join us out at Robbins Lake for an exciting competition on June 28th!
$40 per team to compete in this years competition.

Let’s Try DockDogs Registration
Returning in 2025 is the highly anticipated Let's Try DockDogs, with pre-registration required.
Let’s Try DockDogs allows enthusiastic dog owners and their canine companions to showcase their agility and love for the water. One registration is valid for one team (1 dog, 1 human). Register to compete with your favorite furry friend!
Registration is $20.00 per team.
Freedom Bike Ride Registration
The Freedom Bike Ride will be taking place on June 28th with a NEW route in 2025!
Starting and ending in Downtown Cedar Rapids, our route will take you south through Ely to Solon and back. Kick off the day at Big Grove for a pre-ride event before hitting the trails! Registration is $50.00 per rider and includes FREE breakfast and your first beer at Big Grove - Cedar Rapids, freebies, and deals at local establishments along the route.
Freedom Kids Bike Ride Registration
Freedom Kids Ride is back in Ely!
Our 2025 Kids Freedom Ride will start and end in Ely! This 4 mile route is perfect for all ages! Kids activities and food trucks will be set up in Ely from 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM. The Kids Ride is FREE to participate, but please still fill out the registration form.

Parade Registration
Register your organization to be a part of the 2025 Freedom Festival Parade kicking off in Newbo on June 28th at 4 PM. This year’s theme: Stars, Stripes, and Summertime! Registration cutoff: June 18th

Yoga on the Island Pre-Registration
Register for Yoga on the Island happening July 4th from 9AM - 10AM on May’s Island!
This is a free event with your Freedom Festival button. Vela Yoga will be teaching the class. Please register ahead of time and plan to bring your own mat.
Tribute to Heroes Tickets
Join us on July 1st to highlight and honor four community heroes at our Tribute to Heroes Breakfast inside the Veterans Memorial Building! These individuals being celebrated were nominated and selected for their dedication and service to our community.
Stick around after the breakfast and join us outside the Vets Building for our Flag Raising Ceremony immediately following the Tribute to Heroes event. Purchase individual tickets for $35.00 or reserve a table for $250.00!
Doors open at 7:30AM with the event beginning at 8AM.
